Thailand 2004 with my FujiFilm S5000

Thailand in March 2004

Found my very first digital camera in the garage. Glad I saved it :)

Bought it before our trip to Thailand, of what I can remember.

A FujiFilm S5000, a camera without film ....pictures saved on a memory card! Also I found a memory card, 16mb !!

I can not even fit one picture from my current camera on that memory card.

But in 2004 it was probably a good camera. I say probably because I actually have no idea. My interest was not there in quite the same way. A newly purchased camera, 3 weeks in Thailand and only just under 100 photos. I think I would have come home with the tenfold today, at least.

I had probably had 100 on my phone before we even got to the first hotel.

I remember I had to hand in the memory a couple ot times so they could transfer the pictures to a CD when the memory card was full, cause I only had one memory card with me.

Today I always have dual memory cards in the camera of at least 64gb, and one or two as a spare in the bag.

Anyway, I thought it might be fun to post some of the pictures here in the blog.

Another question is how the hell did I manage to get hold of such a beautiful, caring and amazing wife ... I mean, look at me ... I looked like ... no, I think I keep that for myself.

Well, enjoy some pictures from Phi Phi Island, Krabi and Phuket.

When I look back, it is unbelievable that I have not taken more pictures of all these beaches we went to:

Karon Beach, Kata Beach on Phuket.

Phi Phi Beach, Monkey Beach, Loh Dalum on Phi Phi Island.

Maya Bay (The Beach, the movie !!!), Pileh Lagoon, Loh Sama Bay on Koh Phi Phi Leh.

Ao Nang Beach, Railay Beach, Phra Nang Cave Beach at Krabi.

As well as some beaches on Ko Lanta and a pool among the top floors of a 100-story hotel in Bangkok.

Add to that temple visits, boat trips, moped trips, markets, giant shopping malls, elephants in the middle of town, etc etc ... ... yes, 100 pictures are impressive, very impressive :)
